TaskBuddy is an on-demand service marketplace inspired by TaskRabbit, designed to connect users with skilled taskers for home services, repairs, cleaning, deliveries, and daily assistance. I designed the complete end-to-end experience in Figma and developed the functional mobile app in Flutter, focusing on smooth onboarding, intuitive booking, and a reliable user-tasker workflow.
Designing a clutter-free interface for multiple service categories, building a seamless task posting and matching flow, and ensuring usability for both customers and taskers. Additional hurdles involved maintaining consistency between UI and Flutter implementation, handling real-time updates, and optimising navigation to avoid overwhelming first-time users.
The goal was to create a simple, trustworthy, and efficient platform for hiring help within minutes. I solved this by designing a clean UI system, building guided task creation screens, adding filters for skill-based matching, and developing a Flutter architecture that supports smooth browsing, secure booking, and a transparent tasker profile system.
